Navegando en la red me encuentro con esta noticia y me pareció interesante y quiero compartirla con ustedes, ya que se trata de la cámara del nuevo iphone 5 que es fabricada por la empresa Sony.




Luego de la presentación del tan esperado iPhone 5 hace ya casi dos semanas, aún quedan muchos misterios por resolver, como por ejemplo el conocer quiénes son los responsables de la fabricación de algunos de los componentes internos de este maravilloso smartphone, como la cámara o su nuevo procesador A6.

Desde el pasado 21 de septiembre en algunos países comenzaron a distribuir los iPhone 5 a quienes los habían reservado, y entre ellos se encontraban algunos de los principales analistas de gadgets como “iFixit”, quienes ya nos enseñaron el interior del iPhone 5. Pero uno de estos smartphones también cayó en las manos de ChipWorks, y ellos nos han contado todo sobre las cámaras del nuevo móvil de Apple.
Estos chicos han descubierto luego de un intensivo análisis que el sensor de 8 MP de la cámara principal del nuevo iPhone 5 es fabricado por Sony, gracias a la “firma” que han encontrado en este componente, como se puede ver en la imagen que acompaña este artículo. Esto no es ninguna sorpresa por dos razones principalmente: La primera, debido a que Sony ya había trabajado en este ámbito con Apple, siendo los responsables de la maravillosa cámara que integra el iPhone 4S.



Pero la segunda razón es quizás la más importante, y es que no sólo Sony cuenta con la tecnología necesaria para desarrollar una cámara tan espectacular como la que incorpora el nuevo iPhone, sino que también posee la capacidad de abastecer la demanda de componentes por parte de Apple, es decir, tomando en cuenta los millones de iPhones que se van a vender en los próximos meses, se necesitan la misma cantidad de millones de componentes, y solo una empresa tan grande como Sony podría abastecerlos.
Sin embargo, esta tarea sigue sin ser nada fácil. De hecho, se habla de que Samsung quería que Sony le fabricara una cámara de 13 MP para su Galaxy Note II, pero los japoneses no podían producirlas, ya que este terminal también contará con grandes ventas en el mercado y teniendo la responsabilidad de abastecer las cámaras del nuevo iPhone, ni siquiera Sony tiene tal capacidad de producción.
Finalmente, el sensor que ha desarrollado Sony para el nuevo smartphone de Apple cuenta con resultados increíbles, ya que ha logrado mejorar la calidad de fotografías que captura el iPhone 4S, algo que parecía imposible hace un año. Sobre la cámara frontal del iPhone 5 han descubierto que es producida por Omnivision, uno de los principales rivales de Sony en este mercado.
